7 Midsize Fashion Influencers I Discovered on TikTok & Instagram

So what exactly does it mean to be "mid-size"? Through a few Google searches, it refers to sizes 6 through 12--sizes you don't see represented in media very often. There is a debate on whether or not plus-size starts at a size 12, 18, etc. but when it comes to being in the middle, most people agree on what that means.

Over the past couple years I have gone from a size 4 to probably a size 8, which was hard to acclimate to at first. After searching for MONTHS for representation on Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok, I was able to find seven mid-size fashion influencers to follow for fashion inspo that you should follow too.

1. Nanna Fernandez

Nanna is a Brazilian lifestyle and fashion influencer who is a US size 10 and always has creative outfits. Her looks could best described as "literary chic" and she has several reels showcasing different outfits to wear every day of the week. On Instagram, she promotes body positivity, has cooking reels, and also loves plants (same!).

2. Carrie Dayton

An LA based, fashion influencer, Carrie has fits for every occasion and is super trendy. Besides having a big following on Insta, Carrie is a longtime YouTuber with over 410k subscribers. She has dubbed herself "Your unofficial YouTube big sis who just wants you to be nice to yourself and your body". Her style is colorful and feminine, and she always has great suggestions on where to get bathing suits, thrift, and great exercise sets for the midsize gal.

3. Vanessa Esperanza

Vanessa is a Texas based midsize blogger (and mom!) who posts on Instagram her everyday style and beauty looks/tips. Her style is more lowkey but can speak to literally anyone looking for a casual yet stylish look for their day. She really is the blueprint for the question, "what should I wear today?"

4. Logan Rae Hill

I first found Logan's TikTok page and found it to be very helpful to see my body type represented. Her sister is model Taylor Hill, so you know fashion sense runs in the family! She always has a huge array of outfit inspo from popular places like Revolve and Free People and routinely posts makeup and hair tips. On TikTok she occasionally even offers to help virtually style her followers, and is great to respond to her comments for any style tips.

5. Olivia Freda

Olivia is another midsize influencer who is smashing it on TikTok with 404k followers. Her style could be described as the every-girl look, with simple looks that are still trendy and colorful. She started her curve modeling journey in 2019 after losing a significant amount of weight, and is very open about her journey to accepting her body and being confident. She is as real and transparent as can be about what it's like to be a woman in fashion, which is refreshing relatable.

6. Courtney Quinn

One word to describe Courtney; COLOR!! Her vibrant personality and style is what caught my attention in the first place. Based in New York, Courtney frequently posts different reels on Instagram about how to pose, outfit inspo, and messages of positivity. You'll always feel happy after looking at her posts and she even has a blog about her life and style.

7. Danielle Massis

Danielle is another midsize influencer who is big on TikTok with her handle being as simplistic as MidsizeFashionBlogger. Her style is a lot of dresses and jeans, and I love her page because she always looks put together and has great style inspiration for when I'm scrambling for a casual date night look. She posts awesome Amazon finds, style tips, and great travel photos too.
